Come out and support the two PCSO-sponsored dragon boat teams racing this weekend in Carleton Place.
The Great Big C team did well again during the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival in July this year, with sponsorship support from PCS Ottawa. This men’s team and Michael Sulyha’s newest mixed cancer survivors’ team, We Beat U, are now preparing to race in the Carleton Place Dragon Boat Festival, on Saturday September 6, 2025. There will be the usual qualifying races of 400M and 200M and all teams get a final 400M race. And there will be another Flowers on the Water Ceremony involving the Great Big C, We Beat U and possibly two teams of breast cancer survivors.
