Ottawa City Mayor Mark Sutcliffe has signed into effect an official Proclamation of September 2024 as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
PCS Ottawa Board Chair recently applied to the City of Ottawa to have September 2024 proclaimed as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Once the approval process was complete, the text of the Proclamation was prepared in both official languages. The City of Ottawa Office of Protocol then advised us on August 9 that Mayor Mark Sutcliffe had signed the Proclamation into effect.
We sincerely appreciate the City of Ottawa’s commitment to help us raise awareness of this disease and its effect on men and their families in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region through various activities and events planned for September 2024. Thank you!
