The journal BMC Cardiovascular Disorders recently published a meta-analysis of nine cohort studies comprising nearly 190,000 patients with Prostate Cancer, which revealed that Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) is associated with a significant 30% increased risk of heart failure.

In response to this news, we have arranged with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute to hold one of their mobile Heart Screening Clinics exclusively for Prostate Cancer Support Ottawa. The clinic will take place at St Stephen’s Anglican Church in Nepean [MAP] 8-10 July 2025 and will accommodate about 15 persons per day.
