Our Guest Speakers Jessica Losch and Sean Secord
Topic: ClarityDX Prostate® - a New Biomarker for Prostate Cancer
Jessica Losch joined Nanostics in August 2024 as a business development associate. She holds an undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences and recently completed a Master's in Biomedical Technology. She is driven to contribute towards transformational changes that enhance the patient experience, with the ultimate goal of attending medical school.
Sean Secord officially joined Nanostics as the VP of Clinical Engagement in 2023 but has been involved with Nanostics since its inception in 2017. As the former president of the Yukon's chapter of Ride for Dad, Sean has extensive experience with prostate cancer organizations. Professionally, he has almost 30 years of experience as a clinician and health leader across three provinces and the three territories. He is a lifelong learner who has earned an MBA for healthcare and life sciences, a Masters in Nursing, a Post-Baccalaureate in Business Management, and two undergraduate science degrees.
Regular PCS Ottawa Meetings
Unless otherwise noted, we hold Prostate Cancer Support Ottawa’s regular monthly meetings at the Maplesoft-Jones Cancer Survivorship Centre [Map] on the third Thursday of each month. We don’t hold meetings in the months of July and August, except for our ever-popular annual BBQ on the third Thursday of August.
We offer most of our meetings in hybrid format, allowing you to attend either in person or virtually. Watch our Meetings and Events website page or your e-mail inbox for meeting locations and specific registration instructions.
We normally start our meetings with a social gathering at 6:30 pm, followed at 7:00 pm with brief business announcements, followed by either a guest speaker or a sharing session.
