PCS Ottawa Board Chair Al Carl recently applied to the City of Ottawa to have September 2025 proclaimed as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Once the approval process was complete, the text of the Proclamation was prepared in both official languages. The City of Ottawa Office of Protocol then advised us that Mayor Mark Sutcliffe had signed the Proclamation into official existence.
We sincerely appreciate the City of Ottawa’s commitment to help us raise awareness of this disease and its effect on men and their families in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region through various activities and events planned for September 2025. Thank you!
