We present here in podcast form the truly remarkable story of PCSO member Richard Pell, a stage 4 prostate cancer survivor who whole-heartedly embraced Dalhousie University’s Prostate Cancer Patient Empowerment Program while on his cancer journey. After facing his terrifying diagnosis, exhausting treatment and rehabilitation, PC-PEP empowered Richard to find the steadying power of faith and gratitude, community, friendship, being good to himself every day, self-advocacy, and especially, rediscovering joy.
